Olivia Wins CBAFF Award

After a long two and a half month process, we are proud to announce that Olivia is this years CBAFF/Singapore Airlines young achiever! The competition entailed writing an essay which identified a problem within the freight forwarding industry. From this the entrants were narrowed down to five, where the finalists were quizzed in front of a panel of three on their knowledge of the essay topic, their current jobs and their future in the industry.  With her essay on Dangerous Goods, Olivia has come out on top and taken away the award!!

Olivia.JPGIncluded in the first prize is a trip to Singapore which will include a tour to the Port of Singapore (PSA) as well as Changi airport. Olivia will also be required to attend the annual the CBAFF conference in 2008 where she will represent youth in the industry and will be required to present her essay and findings to the CBAFF audience.

We are so proud of Olivia and this huge achievement.  We are privileged to have Olivia at Oceanbridge and for her hard work to be recognized through this prestigious award.

Also not to be forgotten is the top effort put in by our Oceanbridges other candidates,  Shanon Carne and Daniel Pratt who also entered the competition this year. Both entries were superb with Daniel also making the top 5.

We look forward to enrolling our exceptional young talent next year
