MARFRET COMPAGNIE MARITIME

Marfret Compagnie Maritime is a family owned shipping line based in Marseilles with roots dating back to the early 1950's.

Marfret extended its service's to New Zealand in 1998 and has since then established itself as a regular and reliable carrier to key markets in USA, Europe and Australia.

Currently Marfret operate 3 distinct services utilising 20 vessels to and from New Zealand:

• NASP - a fortnightly service serving the Caribbean, the USA East Coast and UK Europe.

• EANZ - a weekly service via Australia to South East Asia before the Mediterranean and then onto UK Europe.

• KIWI - fixed day weekly service from Auckland to Sydney and Melbourne.

The NASP and EANZ services carry refrigerated as well as dry cargoes and also utilise deck space for breakbulk cargoes such as boats.

The KIWI service caters for both general and reefer cargoes.

New Zealand direct ports of call are Auckland, Napier and Port Chalmers with other regions served via inland haulage.

Through its team of very experienced staff Marfret NZ offer a personalised service for its customers.  Some of these are among some of New Zealand's largest exporters.
